Providing that there are no clinical signs of these diseases
when you take out the policy they will cover your pet for any hereditary or congenital diseases.
Your pet will be covered for veterinary dental treatment providing that your pet has received
a dental (health) check from a vet within the last twelve months.
The policy provides up to £10,000 per annum for payment of vet fees
or complementary treatment i.e. hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and osteopathy. Conventional policies, if they
offer the cover, usually limit complementary treatment to £750 per annum. There is no inner limit
for omplementary treatment with VetsMediCover. The
most important feature of VetsMediCover is life long cover, provided the policy is renewed each year. Many
pet insurers only offer annual contracts, so the policy may lapse, just when you need it.
Lifelong - cover provides peace of mind for pet owners concerned about their pet developing a long term or
recurring illness. VetsMediCover pay up to £10,000, year after year. Lifelong cover means that your
pet is covered for certain conditions for its whole life, covering conditions such as diabetes that require treatment from
your vet for an extended period of time. Some policies limit the amount of money or time that you can claim for any named
illness or injury. The vetsmedicover plan however offers an indiscriminate £10,000 per annum to be
spent on any necessary veterinary treatment for every year that you continue to use their product; this is lifelong cover.
